What's New on myCAD

Two new features are enriching your experience on the myCAD portal: the ability to publish your own tutorials, and the arrival of an AI assistant to help you find answers even faster.

Publishing your own tutorials on myCAD is now possible

Visiativ is no longer the only one calling the shots: you now have the ability to publish your own articles and share your solutions with fellow industry professionals.

You know the scenario. A license locked up on the server. A drawing export that crashes. An assembly that lags. Two hours of searching, only to land on an English-language forum that's been dead since 2014.

Yet the solution exists. It's in the head of a design office engineer 40 km away, who fixed exactly this last month. He knows the steps, the right order, the pitfall to avoid.

We're fortunate to have years of exchanges on the myCAD forum, where SOLIDWORKS users have been helping each other solve cases nobody ever documented. With community tutorials, there's no need to wait for a forum post anymore: if you already have a solution in mind, you can now publish it directly and turn it into a lasting resource that helps as many people as possible — without your colleagues having to spend hours searching.

The next tutorial that saves a colleague's afternoon might just be yours.

An AI assistant to go even faster

Our AI assistant is now available in beta for all Visiativ customers, directly on the myCAD portal.

What it does for you:

  • ✅ It draws on thousands of exchanges from the myCAD forum, our articles, tutorials, and industry data

  • ✅ It helps you find the right information, faster

  • ✅ It's updated in real time

  • ✅ It answers you in multiple languages

And what about the human side of things? The AI assistant doesn't replace our experts — it guides you. If your question needs personalized support, it will point you to the right person. Using it is, of course, entirely optional.

How do you access it? Simply log in to your myCAD portal, accept the cookies, and ask it your first question!

This is a beta: your feedback is valuable in helping us improve it. Feel free to share your experience
