How do I activate or deactivate a SOLIDWORKS license?

1. SOLIDWORKS ACTIVATION

You can activate the SOLIDWORKS license when you start the software if you have just installed it, or if the license is not activated on the computer.

You can also activate or reactivate the SOLIDWORKS license by clicking on the question mark in the top right-hand corner, then selecting "Licenses" from the pop-up menu, then "Activate...".

If you need to activate the license when you start SOLIDWORKS, the window below will suggest that you activate the license now or, if possible (following a SOLIDWORKS installation, for example), activate it later and take advantage of the 30-day grace period. The software will be able to start up and run correctly, but this message will appear each time SOLIDWORKS is restarted until the license is activated.

Once the license has been activated, the grace period is definitively over.
